The Great Gatsby

I just finished the Great Gatsby as a reading assignment for English. It was a pretty good book written by Fitzgerals about love and termoil during the 1920s. The narrator named Nick who is my favorite character. Is introduced into the life of an incrediably rich man named Jay Gatsby. They become friends but Nick starts hearing conflicting stories about Gatsby's shrouded past.

Basically Gatsby has been in love with Nick's cousin (Daisy) and has spent the last few years after the war to reunite their teenage love. But the main problem is that Daisy has moved on and married a wealthy man by the name of Tom. So while Gatsby is trying to take back Daisy, Tom has been having an affair with Mrs. Wilson the whole while. And he is not even trying that hard to hide it. But anyway I don't want to ruin the ending for you but I do recomend the book if you are ever looking for a quick read.

  1. I thought that book was real good. My friend always talked to me about it and I thought he ruined the end for me but it turns out what he had told me was not even something to pay attention to. Sometimes I got a bit distracted and I did not get what was going on but it did not take long before I figured it out. If it had a little more violence in it I would have loved it, simply because I'm that immature so bugger off ya' basterds ( I spelled it that way on purpose to sound Irish)
